1500HP Koenigsegg Regera Driving on Track & Fast Accelerations

This video features a Koenigsegg Regera which we saw during Supercarsunday in Assen last weekend. This is the very first Regera we have seen in real live. The Regera is a limited production, plug-in hybrid hypercar. Only 80 car will be manufactured, all of which has been sold. It has a 5.0L Twin Turbo V8 producing 1100HP together with the electric motors for a combined power output of 1500HP and 2000Nm of torque. What’s also unique about this car is the single-gear direct drive system which replaces the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. This is to compensate for the extra weight of the 3 electric motors.
