Nightmares

Boo! It’s a Halloween special! Extra spooky!
On a more serious note I’ve wanted to try out animating from a different perspective for a while now (being First-Person) but didn’t really know of a good subject. But hey, horror is usually scarier in POV, so I decided to give it a go!
And don’t you dare say it’s too dark! That’s the point!

Short and sweet as usual, so not a lot of time for atmospheric buildup, I suppose. Ends pretty abruptly as well. As for anim-problems, a lot of the animation on the characters is distant and dirty because I have to animate them in Maya and I’m rusty as hell in that. Also accidentally applied a jitter preset on the monster at the end. Woops…

Aside from that, still took a while to make and I’m pretty proud of it! Around 8 hours I’d say, give or take one. It was a fun experiment. Oh! And I voiceacted a little! ;P

And if I remember correctly, one of the models is a Crawler from Black Ops and the last one is from Silent Hill? Correct me if I’m wrong on that one. The first model is called a Scavenger anyway, but no idea where it’s from.
