Vote for United’s Goal of the Month
There are eight superb strikes on our shortlist for Manchester United’s Goal of the Month accolade in November.
Wayne Rooney features twice with the skipper’s efforts against Arsenal and Hull City both making the cut, along with Robin van Persie’s unstoppable drive in the victory over the Tigers. Juan Mata’s winner against Crystal Palace is also included.
A pair of goals from the Lancashire Senior Cup win at Blackburn Rovers are included – Ander Herrera and Joe Rothwell hitting the net – and James Wilson’s clinical opener against Leicester City’s Under-21s also merits a place.
The list is completed by an Under-18 contribution from Marcus Rashford – the first of his double against Newcastle United recently being a swerving shot from outside of the box.
