Artificial Intelligence Leela Chess Zero vs World’s Best Chess Engine Stockfish
AI Leela Chess Zero ID 483 recently competed in a group of 22 bonus games against Stockfish version 180614. This version of Stockfish is what was used when Stockfish defeated Komodo 12.1.1 in Season 12’s Superfinal to become the Top Chess Engine Champion. Time controls for the featured game is 24 minutes each with a 16 second increment. The opening played was the Budapest Gambit where Leela accepts a compromised queenside structure in order to maintain the extra pawn.
