The U.S. Embassy Tashkent hosts a photo exhibition «Women in Search of Inspiration»

In commemoration of International Women’s Day, the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent hosts a photo exhibition – «Women in Search of Inspiration» – recognizing the outstanding achievements of women in Uzbekistan. «Woman in Search of Inspiration» features Tashkent women who are well-known and unknown to the public. All of these women have taken an active stand in their lives and achieved a great deal in their professions, which represent the source of their inspiration and optimism. The photos are the work of professional photographers Hassan Kurbanbaev and Nargiza Matyakubova. Both artists studied the work of fashion photography masters of the 20th century and see photography as an instrument of self-expression.
